KC @ SD on THURSDAY NIGHT; MORE THAN YOU CAN VISUALLY SEE

This team has dealt with adversity
Ground Hog Day - yes, sure feels like it, but they know adversity, at least they did last year and not all the players are gone- so lets just say... yes

Many free agents, Ronnie brown is the player that stood out on Sunday 85 rec (& leader) 102 all purpose yards.

Yes the sky feels like its falling
And things have changed
Urgency,  passion, vets stepping up,  but this is familiar to last year, too!

ADVERSITY!

The hails to #firenorv #dethroneAJ and speculation with #rivers-
just sit down for ONE minute.

1. Short week
2. Norv has best report with River (obvious side note;  Rivers not quite right, with so much pressure an uncertainty on the line, he's scarred and hurried even when he's got time)
3. Whitehurst is no replacement, would rather see LSU Lee (but he's gone, was released from the practice squad on the final cut)
4. Norv is also OFF coord- you can't mess with that now regardless of how u feel on a short week.

Blackout an almost given - The gods stepped in on monday and voided the inevitable blackout with the lowly Chiefs struggling tickets at 50%, to sell a once sold out stadium, and with no luck.

AN Up and arms San Diego community who hasn't stopped ranting who have been threatening picketing, of all the above referenced.

JUST TAKE A BREATH!  and yes, Im worried too, how can you not be, but I do know that this team struggled tremendously last season as well and somehow the locker room didn't cave in and their were no fights….so have a lil hope.  Yes this is not the same team and you can blame all possibilities, there are no answers only solutions to come that can amend this state.

I remember almost too vividly this horrible INT in the endzone on game day vs KC a big loss at Qualcomm.  First time I've been at any game and heard fans BOOING,  screaming FIRE NORV and chanting MARTY.   I'll just say Chiefs always tweak me out, I was on the field, and awed.

I'm also worried about the National televised game ratio as of late, however, I'm in both mode, fan and friend, so I'm not sure which way to wear my jersey or not put it on, inside out? on my bag? I'm right there with you.

But if they loose, what happens??
Rattle to make changes?

Is Kevin Acee correct in assuming that Norv would be fired??

Ok again, hold your horses………..
hold on!!

If things fall more apart, and the Chargers are 3-5 when you wake up from a hangover tomorrow…..there technically not out of it. Its only week 9.

But lets just say, ( and I hope I'm wrong)  but……..
didn't you realize that its AJ Smith?  Are you that naive??
NO POWERFULL HEAD COACH, a passion filled verbal coach with a record for winning playoffs, locker rooms and superbowls IS NOT COMING TO SAN DIEGO WITH AJ AT HELM, I've said it for years,  any one of your probable or possible or wishful coaches isn't going to lay down for AJ.

Do you really want your team to loose???

DON'T YOU NEED TO TRY AND LOOK FOR THE POSITIVES??
That is for your own sanity??

Good Luck SD!  Rooting for you boys!

Its about 15% full now, wondering how this will look on TV.
HOPE THAT THE OLD SAYING "IF MISERY LOVES COMPANY" ISN'T APPLICABLE TONIGHT!

HISTORY MAKING TOTAL NATIONAL HUMILIATION ON PRIME TIME FOR ALL TO WITNESS ON MNF

BIGGEST COME BACK EVER IN NFL HISTORY!

THE BLAME GAME,
A COLLAPSE,
CATASTROPHE,
FINGER POINTING,
FANS OUTRAGED
AND VYING FOR NORV, RIVER AND AJ HEADS'
A PREMONITION OF ALL GAMES BLACKED OUT

NFL.COM HAS A POSITION TOO, AS EVERYONE NATIONALLY I'M SURE DOES

GRIM GRIM PRE-HALLOWEEN GREETINGS FROM LAST NIGHTS DEBACLE AT THE Q.

FEELING PRETTY GOOD AT THE HALF UP 24 TO NOTHING, IT APPEARED THE CHARGERS HAD ALL ON THEIR SIDE, JAMMER'S FIRST PICK 6 AND ERIC DECKER SLIPS WHILE ONLY GREEN AND THE GOAL AHEAD IT SEEMED AS IF THINGS WERE GOING THEIR WAY
HOWEVER..........
IT BECAME VISIBLE AS THE BRONCOS EMERGED FOR THE 2ND HALF DOWN 24 POINTS AND READY TO WIN, WHILE THE BOLTS VISIBLY LEFT THEIR CLEATS ALONG WITH THEIR HEARTS IN THE LOCKER ROOM WHEN THEY RETURNED FOR THE LAST 30 MINUTES OF THE GAME.   PEYTON MANNING'S BRONCOS CAME BACK WITH 35 UNANSWERED POINTS 6 TOTAL TURNOVERS FOR RIVERS ALONE, (4 INT'S AND 2 FUMBLES).

DURING THE 2ND QUARTER CAMERA'S SHOWED PETYON LOOKING LIVID A RARITY - I DON'T THINK IVE EVER SEEN HIM LOOK DISHEVELED ON THE SIDELINES, WE JOKED THINKING WHAT HE MAY DO AT THE HALF RUN IN TO THE BATHROOM AND LOCK THE DOOR TO SCREAM??  NOPE I THINK HE WENT IN AND SAID OK GUYS LISTEN UP, AND WE'LL WIN! OH YEAH ALSO, THEY DON'T FINISH!
PLUS JOHN FOX IS A GREAT COACH AS I VIEWED LAST SEASON WHERE HE WAS AND IS ABLE TO UTILIZE PLAYERS FOR THE BEST OF THE TEAM TO BENEFIT, LAST YEAR HE WAS ABLE TO USE TEBOW'S (A TIGHT END MASQUERADING AS A QB) STRENGTHS TO BEAT PITTSBURGH. GUESS WHAT? MANNING IS THERE NOW.

HOWEVER…THAT BEING SAID AND STATED, A FOOTBALL GAME IS 60 MINUTES, 4 QUARTERS YOU ARE TAUGHT TO PLAY THE FULL TIME.

IF THE BOLTS CAN LEARN FROM 2 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS 52-7 KILLING IN THE SECOND HALF, BOTH LEADING BY DOUBLE DIGITS  AND YET  UNABLE TO FINISH.  NO DAGGER, WELL ACTUALLY THERE WAS ONE TO THE FANS AND TO THE TEAM.  IF THEY CAN TAKE THIS AND LEARN THERE IS HOPE.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KILL, THIS WASN'T 52-0 AT THE HALF WHERE YOU FIND COMPASSION IN YOUR OPPONENT IT WAS A MERE 24 POINT LEAD WITH ONE OF THE BEST FOURTH QUARTER COMEBACK TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE. A MVP AT THE HELM……. GAME WASN'T OVER IT WAS MERELY THE HALF.

XX1090 JUST AIRED NORV'S PRESSER, DEFINITELY WORTH SOME EARS TO HEAR BETWEEN THE LINES, HE GOT A LIL UNRAVELED WHICH IS ALSO A RARITY, FROM THE COMPOSED OR VERSED HEAD COACH.  MEDIA PRESSED DESERVINGLY SO FOR ANSWERS FOR YOU THE FANS.

A LONG 13 DAYS AS THE CHARGERS TRY AND FORGET THIS UNFORGETTABLE DISASTER THEN PREPARE FOR THE BROWNS WHO ARE GOING IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION WITH OUT MIKE HOLMGREN.

#MNF CHARGERS VS BRONCOS

IN LESS THAN AN HOUR THE CHARGERS WILL HOST THE PEYTON MANNING DENVER BRONCOS.

Peyton has stayed true to his species, from a Colt to a Bronco.

Chargers just edge over the Broncos in the 22 last meetings with 12 wins.

Variables or one specific to recon with is the missing link, Jared Gaither will not play.

Un drafted Bruin, Mike Harris will take command, now with a few games under his belt.
However not only the blindside is effected as the running game takes a toll too.

Running lanes, created by who??

San Diego has the NFL's 5th-ranked rush defense allowing an average of 74.0 yards
McGahee is only back to exceed 100 yards rushing in the last dozen games vs the Chargers.

Denver's defense has allowed an average of 120 yards a game, but can they make the lanes?

It is Monday Night Football however, and no matter what the Chargers seem to rise to the occassion along with matching up well with the former Colt leader, the pieces are different in Denver but Manning has something special to be reconned with.  Look for Shaun Phillips to have a big night and looking to see Atari Bigby and Eric Weddle to have a pick or two!

This is sound from last year, but MNF is MNF! Always exciting!

And the Chargers have a bye week just following tonight, thus you need to stick a win, to relish it for the week off, plus this is a Division Game!!
A SHOT AT THE BRAGGING RIGHTS AND MOMENTUM FOR THE BYE WEEK.

Half time SD local and NFL analyst Phil Michelson will attempting a shot (per PGA 14%) attempts on  for a million dollar charity contribution. Already giving the ESPN team some stats and his opinions only as a CHARGER fan can do.

BIG Game!  Lots although early in the season, lots on the line.

PS  Parking lots is full, closed and smoking with tailgating aroma's

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: Roswell/ USA/ Red Bull Stratos/ Baumgartner’s record jump from edge of space

Roswell/ USA/ Red Bull Stratos/ Baumgartner’s record jump from edge of spaceRed Bull Stratos: Mission Accomplished
Austria's Felix Baumgartner earned his place in the history books on Sunday after overcoming concerns with the power for his visor heater that impaired his vision and nearly jeopardized the mission. Baumgartner reached an estimated speed of 1,137 km jumping from the stratosphere, which when certified will make him the first man to break the speed of sound in freefall and set several other records* while delivering valuable data for future space exploration.

ROSWELL, New Mexico - After flying to an altitude of 39,044 meters (128,097 feet) in a helium-filled balloon, Felix Baumgartner completed Sunday morning a record breaking jump for the ages from the edge of space, exactly 65 years after Chuck Yeager first broke the sound barrier flying in an experimental rocket-powered airplane. The 43-year-old Austrian skydiving expert also broke two other world records (highest freefall, highest manned balloon flight), leaving the one for the longest freefall to project mentor Col. Joe Kittinger.
Baumgartner landed safely with his parachute in the desert of New Mexico after jumping out of his space capsule at 39,044 meters and plunging back towards earth, hitting a maximum of speed of 1,137 km/h through the near vacuum of the stratosphere before being slowed by the atmosphere later during his 4:19-minute long freefall. Baumgartner's jump lasted a total of 9:03 minutes. Countless millions of people around the world watched his ascent and jump live on television broadcasts and live stream on the Internet. At one point during his freefall Baumgartner appeared to spin rapidly, but he quickly re-gained control and moments later opened his parachute as members of the ground crew cheered and viewers around the world heaved a sigh of relief.

"It was an incredible up and down today, just like it's been with the whole project," a relieved Baumgartner said. "First we got off with a beautiful launch and then we had a bit of drama with a power supply issue to my visor. The exit was perfect but then I started spinning slowly. I thought I'd just spin a few times and that would be that, but then I started to speed up. It was really brutal at times. I thought for a few seconds that I'd lose consciousness. I didn't feel a sonic boom because I was so busy just trying to stabilize myself. We'll have to wait and see if we really broke the sound barrier. It was really a lot harder than I thought it was going to be."

Baumgartner and his team spent five years training and preparing for the mission that is designed to improve our scientific understanding of how the body copes with the extreme conditions at the edge of space.
Baumgartner had endured several weather-related delays before finally lifting off under bright blue skies and calm winds on Sunday morning. The Red Bull Stratos crew watching from Mission Control broke out into spontaneous applause when the balloon lifted off.
* The data on the records set by the jump are preliminary pending confirmation from the authorized governing bodies.

REUNIONS IN NEW ORLEANS WITH HAZARDOUS SAINTS

THE (3-1) SAN DIEGO CHARGERS FLY INTO THE BIG EASY TO A DANGEROUSLY DESPERATE (0-4) NEW ORLEANS SAINTS TEAM

STORY LINES GALORE

1.   BREES AND SURPASSING JOHNNY UNITAS' 52 YEAR RECORD.
IF HE THROWS A TOUCHDOWN PASS HE WILL HAVE 58 CONSECUTIVE GAMES WITH AT LEAST ONE SCORING TOSS.  IF YOUR A SAINTS FAN, DO YOU EVEN CARE?? WHAT MOST LIKELY MAY OCCUR IS 4 PASS ATTEMPTS INSIDE THE RED ZONE, HOW DOES THAT SIT?  ONCE AGAIN DO YOU CARE? OR DOES THIS SEEM TO BE A SELFISH ACT?  DOES IT REALLY MATTER IF NEW ORLEANS LOSES??  YOU OPTING TO HAVE CELEBRATE YOUR QB AT THE COST OF THROWING ON YOUR PAPER BAG??

2.   BREES AGAIN;   DEPENDING ON THE OUTCOME, IT WILL END UP MATCHING UP ONE OF TWO WAYS, OR MAYBE JUST ONE, SAN DIEGO COULD OF GONE TO THE SUPERBOWL HAD THEY NOT RELEASED A MENDING DREW BREES AND STARTED FRANCHISE QB PHILLIP RIVERS?

2B.   MORE BITTERNESS COULD CONTINUE  FOR SAN DIEGO FANS AT THE LOSS OF 5'2 SPECIAL TEAMS ANOMALY,DARREN SPROLES, THAT IS IF SAN DIEGO LOSES.

3.   ROBERT MEACHEM FIRST TIME BACK SINCE HE'S IN THE BLUE IN GOLD, IMPACT MAKER VS HIS OLD TEAM?

4.   TRAP GAME....
BUT WHAT WORRIES ME, IS THE POWER OF PASSION AND VOLATILITY THAT COMES WITH A SCARED ANIMAL BACKED INTO A CORNER.  A TEAM WHO HAS DISPLAYED VANILLA DEFENSE, LOTS OF DROPPED PASSES, INT'S, SOFT UPFRONT ON BOTH LINES.
THE ISLAND OF MISFIT TOYS ONCE AGAIN IS BEHIND THE 8 BALL SITTING WITH ZERO WINS AS WEEK FIVE COMES TO A CLOSE.  IF YOUR A CHARGER FAN THAT SHOULD SCARE YOU!

WITH AN INTERIM-TO-THE-INTERIM HEAD COACH, AARON KROMER IN DURING SEAN PAYTON'S ABSENCE, D COORD LOSS, PLAYER LOSS, BREES'  CONTRACT HOLD OUT MAY HAVE AIDED HIM DIVIDENDS AT THE BANK, BUT IT LEFT NO ROOM FOR ANY OTA'S, NO PRACTICE, NO GETTING ON THE SAME PAGE WITH RECEIVERS.   NOTED AS A COACH,  AMPLIFYING THE ABUNDANT WOES THIS TEAM HAS DEALT WITH.  HURRICANE 2012, BUT LET ME REMIND YOU HOW THEY CAME BACK ,FOUGHT AND WON THEIR FIRST SUPER BOWL IN FRANCHISE HISTORY #43.

WITH LOTS OF DIVERSION IN THE BIG EASY, ONE CAN'T FORGET, THIS IS A WILD TEAM, AT HOME ALREADY RE-REFERENCES LOOMING AS THE "AINTS".   BROWN BAGS MAY BE COMING OUT, BUT I DON'T DOUBT THAT THE SAINTS PLAYERS WON'T DO EVERY AND ANYTHING POSSIBLE TO HALT AND BEGIN CLEANUP ON THE DISASTER THAT HAS COMMENCED THEIR 2012 SEASON.  EVEN SAINTS ANNOUNCERS STATING "THEY'LL BE NO MIRACLES FOR THE SAINTS SO FAR"

GOOD LUCK AT THE MERCEDES-BENZ SUPER DOME ON SUNDAY NIGHT SAN DIEGO!!
WITH EVERY WIN IN THE NFL BEING A BIG DEAL AND NOT AN EASY FEAT.
THIS WIN  COULD BE MUCH BIGGER THAN CONCEIVABLY POSSIBLE, A SHOWING OF WHAT THIS TEAM IS TRULY ALL ABOUT, ESPECIALLY GOING IN HUMBLY AS 3-POINT UNDERDOG.
SHOULD BE A DYNAMITE GAME!

ROCKEM SOCKEM CHARGERS!

WHAT'S YOUR NAME? TURN AROUND.......

MORE TO THE STORY THAN MY LAUGHS

I'm sure you got as good a laugh as I did with ESPN's MNF montage of mic'd up video highlights.
I laughed every time and even more so on this particular part of the video.

Especially Houston Texan RB, Arian Foster's words to Jimmy Wilson, CB for the Miami Dolphins
"What's Ya Name?  Turn Around.......I Don't Know You Bro"

Tonite, while watching my favorite show, "Inside The NFL" on SHOWTIME, compliments of the one and only NFL Films.  I got a little more to the story, as did everyone watching, they played against each other in high school, per sound bites also that Wilson had tried to strangle Foster in a pile during those years, I'm assuming 2002-03.

I honed in,
I knew Arian played at Mission Bay HS and searched to find Jimmy at Pt Loma HS.  Not only did I find this out, but that Wilson had had other struggles too......

The vid clip is pretty funny, hits a connection to San Diego and has some history with a moral.  You never know............karma does come back, when you cross someone....it just might come and bite you in the ass.

My two cents......enjoy.

GET OFF HIS BACK

PLEASE GET OF JARED GAITHER'S BACK, LITERALLY!

I'm so tired of hearing the media and fans bitch and moan on behalf of something they have never experienced.  Nor have they ever been athletes, or it appears that way as I continue to hear the questioning of his health.  First of all I don't think anyone can talk UNLESS you've had serious back issues.  Now I haven't spoken with Jared recently so I don't know the whole story, but I do know back issues.  I am a former athlete, I still play sports, but not on anything close to that level.  I've had many injuries, par for the course, if your scarred to get hurt than don't play!  I have plates, screws, washers, sprained ankles, MCL & ACL injuries, broken ribs, punctured lung, concussions, fractured hip and an 18MM bulging disc.

What I can say is that the back has been the scariest injury of all.   I wouldn't sleep for 3 months at a time, nervous to move the wrong way after getting up from a chair or reaching for something for fear of not being able to move or be out of commission for lengths of time.  It's mortifying, it still is.  There was a fear that I may be completely disabled, NOTHING that I have encountered even comes close to this injury.  I have dropped to my knees, been reduced to laying on ice, legs elevated on the ground.  BACK ISSUES ARE IMMOBILIZING!!  They put real fear in you, its not like a sprained ankle or broken bone, you cant just wrap it and play with it, (and tell yourself your being a puss for not participating) with total uncertainty of the outcome.  After years and I mean years of being scared, I finally gave in and skated anyways for I was going to hurt no matter what I did, grocery shop, fold laundry or even get into my car.  Now, let me re-inerate I have NOT spoken with Jared recently or about his injury nor do I aim to put words in his mouth, all I know is my own experience.

A few years ago I had steroid narcotic epidurals in my back a series of 3, this after three different opinions as again let me state, i was scarred to death for them to do anything to my spine for fear of being totally handicapped.  It helped a lot!  Along with as much PT my insurance would allot, MRI only after I had done PT for 3 months as well, LOL.   Also I heard on the radio today, total ignorance that all Jared needed to do was see a Chiropractor or sit in a ice bath or get a massage, ARE YOU KIDDING!~the morons, don't you think he would of already done all those things and this only puts a band aid on it.  I was hooked up by one of the best Sports Therapist/ Chiropractor's and I went every week, for 4 years or more, it was the only day I felt good.  So again, GIVE HIM A BREAK!  Unless you've had  a different experience, but when your back is failing you, any move I MEAN ANY move can make you drop to your knees.

Let the amazing Blindside who the CHARGERS are grateful to have mend, obviously he doesn't want to talk about it, it's pretty scary stuff, which you only know if you've been through what he's going through.

SPEEDY RECOVERY WISHES JARED!
