BAND WAGONERS OR NOT
NBA FINALS 2012
Are you a fan of Oklahoma City or a hater on Miami?
I've only been a fan of The Thunder for 3 seasons,
They pulled me in, was tired of all the single star teams.
Constantly being blown away how one could miss not only one but two FT, as a professional basketball player!
(Granted I couldn't do it, never had the height, or desire; football another story) and one player holding the weight of a team.
Team is just that, its not an individual sport, it doesn't even have the stats that carry in baseball. I became enamored by Oklahoma City, just for this reason.
First rooting for the underdog, then I claimed last season once they win the big one, they'll rule the NBA for a decade.
That is if they keep what they have, the essence at least.
A tough feat in the world of professional sports teams however with trades and money on the collar, but there is something special in that locker room. Something I think you need to look at.
I love the TEAM they are!
The humility they display,
the youth
and the fact that there are no pre-madonnas!
Along with a coach who seems to understand what they are.
Has steered them or kept them focused on the basics along with seeing their assets and the right amount of encouragement.
Has steered them or kept them focused on the basics along with seeing their assets and the right amount of encouragement.
They play basketball 101!
But I think it will be a close Final, amazing basketball being displayed.
Although I think Thunder will take it but I think it'll go 6 games.
Especially if Lebron, Wade and Bosch can mesh. This team also has a lot of things stacked against them, all the haters for what they did. But take a closer look, you have 3 superstars joined on one team, what they were able to adapt with last season and this year to solidify all means the same as well, they play like a team, when they win. It says a lot even to all the haters.
If your anywhere near Oklahoma City or Miami, take advantage of history in the making. No matter what the price, you'll be viewing History!
